Yesterday, it was just a sheet of acetate

Today, it’s a frame designed and handcrafted in our Vieux-Hull workshop. Unlike mass-produced eyewear, each of our frames is made here, one at a time.

Don’t have your prescription yet?

No problem. You can come in to browse and try on our frames right now, then send us your prescription later.

Ready-to-wear

Choose a frame from our in-store collection, then select the colour or pattern of the temples.

Made-to-measure

Love a particular style, but the size or colour isn’t quite right? We’ll adapt it to your face and craft it according to your preferences.

Bespoke

Created entirely for you, your frame is designed around your face, your style and your preferences. We create a prototype for you to try, refine the design together, and craft the final frame once you’re completely satisfied.

The Making of a Bespoke Frame

We begin by discussing the frame you have in mind.
We design your frame around the shape and proportions of your face.
Your frame is precision-machined from a sheet of cellulose acetate.
Each component is carefully assembled by hand.
Shaping and polishing reveal the depth, colour and lustre of the acetate.
Your bespoke frame is complete — designed and handcrafted just for you.

Eddy Fillion, optician, has been designing and crafting eyewear frames for over 10 years, working closely with Marie-Chantal Rioux, who guides you in choosing the shapes, colours, and details that will make your frame a truly personal and unique creation.
